We recommend flying into Denver International Airport (DEN) or Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE). Vail is about a 2 hour drive from Denver* and a 30 minute drive from Eagle County Regional Airport.

*I-70 can be very unpredictable in terms of traffic, construction, and weather so please buffer in a handful of hours for the drive. We recommend trying to travel up before 4pm to avoid rush hour traffic.

This is a shuttle company that offers transportation to and from Denver airport to Vail.

Getting around is very easy! If you are staying within Vail Village, most locations are within walking distance.

In addition, a free shuttle bus runs regularly throughout the village making it simple to hop on and off while exploring. There are numerous stops throughout the village and they typically pickup at each stop every 5-10 minutes. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are limited and often unreliable in the Vail area so it's best to use the in town shuttles when possible.

The Grand Hyatt where our block is located also offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the Village.

A car is only necessary if you plan to explore outside of Vail Village. Within the village, you’ll find excellent hiking trails, restaurants, shops, and activities.
